Hello! I’m Luis, a licensed cosmetologist with over 12 years of experience in the hair industry. My passion lies in making clients feel beautiful and confident, and I take great pride in the personalized service we provide at Calabash Salon. Our intimate salon experience ensures that every appointment is tailored to your unique hair goals, allowing for quality time and attention.
When I’m not in the salon, I love spending time outdoors, going on hikes, and embarking on road trips with my partner. We both enjoy indulging in Dunkin Donuts and having a little fun, whether that’s shopping or enjoying a night out with some cosmo martinis.
I’m also a certified sailing instructor with over 15 years of experience, which was my first love before hairdressing. Cooking together is another passion we share, and I believe in staying active by hitting the gym—especially after treating myself to delicious sweets! Traveling internationally is a huge passion of ours, and Brazil is at the top of the list for its vibrant culture and cuisine.

Marky has officially made his return to the Hair Industry after a five year sabbatical, during which he worked as a Visual Effects Coordinator within the Film Industry. He is very excited to be back behind the chair and is looking forward to sharing his creative passion with new and returning clients alike!
With 10+ years of experience, Marky has developed a profound love for crafting customized shades of blonde & lived-in hair color creations. His love for inspiring a smile is what keeps his drive alive, and considers it an honor to play even a small part in helping ensure his clients feel beautiful.
Outside of work, Marky spends the majority of his time writing, reading, or watching film & television. He loves all things Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and X-Men. Wanna chat comics & video games while getting your hair done?
